At just 13 years of age, Swan Valley Anglican Community School Year 10 Student Noah Brown has dedicated most of his life to honing and refining his skills in the emerging sport of Ninja Obstacle Racing. After winning the very first Youth Ninja Competition held in Western Australia at just eight years of age, Noah’s rise in the sport has been astronomical.
In 2022 and early 2023, Noah competed in two National Championships, finishing 2nd in one and a respectable 6th in the other. These results qualified him to compete in multiple International and World Championship events throughout 2023.
Noah competed in the Pre-Teen Division at his first International Ninja Competition in the USA, the World Ninja League (WNL) World Championships, and completed the first two stages flawlessly. He attended the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) International Ninja and Obstacle Expo in the Under 13 Division. He also competed in the World Obstacle/Modern Pentathlon co-sanctioned 100m Ninja World Cup. Noah made it to the semi-finals and ended up in 11th position overall.
These results earned Noah an invitation to compete in the elite, invitation-only WNL Premier Series (WNL PS). After achieving 2nd place in National Qualifying, Noah competed in New York, finishing in 12th place.
In 2024, Noah was crowned Australian Ninja Games (ANG) National Champion for the Under 13 Division and the Ninja Challenge League Western Australia State Champion for the Teen Division.
His most impressive Ninja accomplishments, however, have come on the Intercontinental and International stage. This year, Noah was awarded 3rd place and a Bronze Medal in the World Ninja Athlete Games for the Under 13 Division—this was his first–ever podium for an International Competition!
Being an individual who enjoys setting a high bar, Noah chose to compete in the Adult Division at two recent International Competitions. In July 2024, he competed in the Asia Obstacle Sports Championship in Malaysia in the Open Adult Male Category. Noah made it all the way to the Gold Medal Race where he was awarded 2nd place and his first ever International Silver Medal.
In September, Noah once again headed to Malaysia to compete in the Open Adult Division of the O-Zone Games Ninja Competition. After two days of intense competition, Noah had an outstanding run in the final stage and was crowned O-Zone Games, Open Adult Male Champion!
We congratulate Noah on his extraordinary Ninja accomplishments and wish him every continued success in the future.
